HARD EARNED

Below is a repost of a blog I released last year. I'm in a special 6-day school this week, fresh off the heels of a 3-day weekend conference. I will reconnect with you soon to address self-trust and self-honor. But for now... Enjoy!
I believe a woman’s supreme power is manifest when she grants herself the gift of soul-searching, gut-wrenching, genuine honesty about who she is – her strengths, weaknesses, struggles and personality quirks.
Real growth and even happiness occurs when we, as women, celebrate our values but work decisively to align our character with qualities that promote positivity, empowerment and courage. We ask ourselves the hard questions: Do I promote positivity by giving careful consideration to how I interact with others? Do I listen freely, or do I have to be the first to speak, as if my situation automatically has more significance? Do I empower other women by collaborating with them, especially if their methods and strategies will enhance my brand and even me? Or do I think that I know more even though my skill set demonstrates otherwise? Do I have the courage to press forward when times get hard or financial challenges prevail? Or do I give up, even blaming others for my lack of acumen and prowess?
Your power as a woman will always be equivalent to or greater than the power of your brand. This is because you, your time, your energy, your fortitude and insight created and nurtured the brand! Brand development, which should be synonymous with your character and reputation, is like giving birth to a child. You’re constantly learning, teaching, guiding, feeding and giving to an entity that represents the essence of YOU. And when your efforts reach fruition, the experience, the journey will have been hard-earned and well deserved.
However, I have learned that there is no plateau in business. Regardless of your net, you must stay afloat and keep doing for continued success. And doing is completely different from growing. The same is true in your personal development. Refinement is the result of doing and savvy is the result of growing. We are all still a work in progress. Always.
Below are 5 tips to help you stay the course when launching a new brand and possibly a new YOU.
Be wise. Be diligent. Be patient. MARIO'S MESSAGE
